On Friday, the Corinth Warriors's game was all tied up 24-24 at the half, but luckily for them it didn't stay that way. They skirted past Hardin County 45-43. The victory made it back-to-back wins for Corinth.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Corinth to victory, but perhaps none more so than Xae Mayes, who scored 11 points along with 5 rebounds and 4 steals. The team also got some help courtesy of Cayden Harris, who scored 15 points along with 6 rebounds.
The victory got Corinth back to even at 4-4. As for Hardin County, their loss dropped their record down to 5-2.
Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Corinth will square off against New Hope at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. New Hope is currently enjoying a perfect season and no doubt want to keep things rolling. As for Hardin County, they will head out on the road to face off against Scotts Hill at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
