The Canyon Hills Rattlers  will head out on the road to  face off against  the Point Loma Pointers at 6:00  p.m.  on Wednesday. Given that  the two teams suffered a loss in their last game, they both have a little extra motivation heading into this  contest.

  Natalye Debus was huge while hitting and pitching even without the win. She looked comfortable on the mound,   striking out nine batters over  seven innings while giving up  four earned  (and four unearned) runs off   ten  hits. Debus has been nothing but reliable: she hasn't  pitched less than six  innings in eight consecutive pitching appearances. Debus was also big at the plate,  scoring a  run and  stealing a base while going 1-for-3.
 In other batting news,  Hal'E Martin made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and  scored a  run and  stole a base while going 1-for-3. Another player making a difference was  Audrey Mercado, who  scored a  run while going 1-for-3.
 Point Loma lost  12-3 to Mira Mesa on Monday.
 Point Loma saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was  Ryoko Schroth, who  got on base  in all four of her plate appearances with two  RBI and a  double.
 Canyon Hills' record now sits at 7-11. As for Point Loma, they have  traveled a rocky road recently having  lost three of their last four games,  which put a noticeable dent in their 13-9 record  this season.
