Spring Garden came tearing into Friday's match with three straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 9 runs), and they left with even more momentum. Everything went their way against the Sand Rock Wildcats as they made off with a 12-2 victory. The result was nothing new for the Panthers, who have now won four games by ten runs or more so far this season.

The win got Spring Garden back to even at 6-6. As for Sand Rock, they dropped their record down to 3-11 with the defeat, which was their 17th straight on the road dating back to last season.

Coincidentally, Spring Garden and Sand Rock will both be playing Section the next time they take the field. Sand Rock will head out to face Section at 4:30 p.m. on Monday, while Spring Garden will host them at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
