Metro recap Sept. 26, 2012
Douglass moved up to 990 from 1,044 in the state rankings this week, the biggest jump in Metro. The Lions were able to make the jump by beating Firebaugh 20-13.
Douglass was the team that gained the most ground in the standings this week, jumping from fourth to second in the league. Joseph Bustos's team defeated the Falcons 20-13 earlier in the week.
Thanks to the talents of Deandre Dunn and Kendall Tillman View Park has been able to do all sorts of things on offense. Dunn leads the league in passing with 353 yards, while Tillman has rushed for 365 yards this season. Animo South Los Angeles's Edward Lampley leads the league in receiving yards with 245 on 12 catches.
