The Design Tech Dragons will face off against the Luis Valdez Leadership Academy Lions at 3:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Design Tech is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 11.6 runs per game this season.
Design Tech's pitching crew heads into the matchup hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Monday. They blew past Latino College Preparatory Academy 17-0. The Dragons haven't had any issues with the Golden Eagles recently, as the game was their ninth consecutive win against them.

Jeneva Fletcher made a splash no matter where she played. On the mound, she kept things locked down with no earned runs or hits while striking out ten over four innings pitched. She has been nothing but reliable: she hasn't tossed less than five strikeouts in six consecutive appearances. She was also big at the plate, firing off two home runs, five RBI, and three runs while going 3-for-4.
In other batting news, Ella Lewis was incredible, going a perfect 4-for-4 with three runs, two doubles, and one triple. Another player making a difference was Caitlin Edwards, who went a perfect 3-for-3 with two runs, two RBI, and one double.
Design Tech was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .593. That was just more of the same: they've now posted a batting average of .355 or higher in six consecutive contests.
Meanwhile, Luis Valdez Leadership Academy was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their eighth straight loss. They came up short against Summit Shasta, falling 21-4.
Design Tech's victory was their fifth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 10-6. The road wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 18.4 runs over those games. As for Luis Valdez Leadership Academy, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-8.
