How does it
work? Nominees are selected from
statistics submitted on MaxPreps. Coaches who do not have current access may
request their free account here.
Weekly finalists are released on MaxPreps every
Tuesday and voting is conducted in a special poll.
Voting ceases at noon on Mondays. The winners are announced the next day
along with the next week's nominees.
Participants may vote as many
times as they want. It's a competition.
This past week, over 1.2-million votes were
cast! So far this season 1.6-million votes have been
cast.

High School Athletes of the

* Sam Craig, Northwestern (Kokomo)
FootballJunior carried the ball 25 times for 294
yards and three TDs in a 50-48 win over Benton Central. Also made seven
tackles and had a forced fumble on defense.
* Caleb Delorenzo, Trinity (South Bend) Boys
SoccerSenior had two four-goal games in wins over
New Prairie and Glenn (added two assists) and two goals and an assist in
a win over Bremen. Also had two goals and an assist in a win over South
Bend Riley for the undefeated Tians.
* Peyton Geer, Evansville Christian Girls
SoccerSophomore had four goals and an assist in a
9-0 win over North Knox and back-to-back hat tricks (three goals each)
in shutout wins over Evansville Harrison and Fort Wayne Concordia
Lutheran. Has 35 points (20 goals and three assists this season.

* Eli Quasebarth, North White (Monon) FootballSenior carried the ball 21 times for 308 yards and six TDs in a 56-30 win over Tri-County. Has carried the ball 77 times for 945 yards and 16 TDs this season.
* Raegan Durbin, Western Boone (Thorntown) VolleyballJunior had 115 kills last week, including 36 in a win over Danville. Has 284 kills and 114 digs this season.
* Roland Vera Jr., Evansville Reitz FootballSenior caught 15 passes for 225 yards ad two TDs and also ran for a TD in a 24-7 win over Evansville North. Has thrown for a TD, run for two and caught four this season.
* Sophie Reising, Richmond Girls SoccerFreshman had back-to-back four-goal games in wins over Muncie Central and Marion. Had a season-high six assists earlier this season in a win over Anderson. Has 34 points (11 goals and 12 assists) in six games.
* Jayden DeFalco, Indiana School for the Deaf (Indianapolis) FootballSenior completed 19-of-31 passes for 223 yards and six TDs and carried the ball nine times for 66 yards and two TDs in a 56-26 win over the Texas School for the Deaf. Has accounted for 22 TDs in four games.
* Kynnadi Bell, Yorktown VolleyballSenior surpassed 1,000-career assists with 161 last week in wins over Mt. Vernon, Brownsburg and Carmel and a loss to Hamilton Southeastern.
* Kyler Kropp, New Palestine FootballSenior caught four passes for 182 yards and four TDs and also ran for a TD in a 63-29 win over Mt. Vernon.
* Nolan Kinsella , Munster Boys SoccerSenior had four goals and an assist in a 9-0 win over Andrean and three goals in an 8-0 win over Merrillville. Has 24 goals and three assists this season.

FootballSophomore carried the ball 36 times for 179
yards and five TDs as the Eagles beat Lapel, 38-37, for the first time
since 2012, snapping a 13-game losing streak in the series.
* Micah Foss, Greencastle Boys
SoccerSophomore had five goals in a 9-0 win over
Brown County and three goals in a 3-2 win over Crawfordsville. Also had a
goal and assist in a 4-0 win over Indian Creek. His 17 goals and 36
points both rank No. 1 in the state.
