The Dundee/Bradford Central BraveScots will challenge the South Seneca/Romulus Falcons at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Dundee/Bradford Central will be looking to extend their current eight-game winning streak.
On Thursday, Dundee/Bradford Central made easy work of Honeoye and carried off a 21-1 victory. The result was nothing new for the BraveScots, who have now won ten matches by seven runs or more so far this season.
Morgan Sutryk made a big impact while hitting and pitching. On the mound, she didn't allow a single earned run and allowed only two hits while striking out seven over five innings pitched. She has been nothing but reliable: she hasn't tossed less than five strikeouts in five consecutive appearances. She was also stellar in the batter's box, going 2-for-3 with three stolen bases, three runs, and one double. Those three stolen bases gave her a new career-high.

In other batting news, Dundee/Bradford Central let Piper Simpson and Riley Brisco run wild. Simpson went a perfect 4-for-4 with three runs, one stolen base, and two RBI, while Brisco went a perfect 4-for-4 with two runs, two RBI, and one double. Those three runs gave Simpson a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Maddie Knapp, who went 2-for-3 with two runs and two RBI.
Dundee/Bradford Central always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .722. That's the best OBP they've posted all season.
Meanwhile, South Seneca/Romulus unfortunately couldn't capitalize on their home-field advantage in their season opener. They lost 11-4 to Dundee/Bradford Central back in April.
Dundee/Bradford Central pushed their record up to 11-1 with the win, which was their fifth straight at home. Those home victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 0.6 runs on average over those games. As for South Seneca/Romulus, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-1.
Everything went Dundee/Bradford Central's way against South Seneca/Romulus in their previous matchup back in April, as Dundee/Bradford Central made off with an 11-4 win. Will the BraveScots repeat their success, or do the Falcons have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
