Avon dropped their record down to 1-9 with that defeat, which was their third straight at home. Those losses can't be blamed on the team's offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 52.0 points per game. As for Freeman, the win was the sixth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 7-3.
Avon will head out on the road to square off against Freeman Academy/Marion at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. The matchup should be an exciting one, as these teams are ranked near one another in South Dakota (Freeman Academy/Marion is ranked 132nd, while Avon is ranked 136th). As for Freeman, they will look to defend their home court on Tuesday against Scotland at 7:45 p.m.
