 At the plate, Flour Bluff got a  massive  performance out of  Benjamin Terry, who  scored three  runs and  stole three bases while going 3-for-3. Those  three  hits gave  Terry a new career-high.  Brody Smith was another key player,  scoring three  runs and  stealing three bases while  getting on base  in three of his four plate appearances.
Meanwhile, Ray narrowly escaped with a  victory as the  team sidled past Alice  4-3.
 OJ RUIZ spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: he surrendered three  runs (all of which were unearned)  on four hits and racked up seven Ks. He has been nothing but reliable: he hasn't  given up  more than one  earned run in six consecutive appearances.
 On the hitting side,  LUCAS TINAJERO was  excellent,  scoring a  run while going 1-for-3.
 Ray is  on a roll lately: they've  won five of their last six contests. That's provided a massive bump to their 14-9 record  this season. Those  wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 3.0 runs on average over those games. As for Flour Bluff, their victory bumped their record up to 10-11-2.
