The Edison Eagles will take on the Chouteau-Mazie Wildcats at 10:00 a.m. on Friday. Chouteau-Mazie took a loss in their last contest and will be looking to turn the tables on Edison, who comes in off a win.
Edison took a loss when they played away from home on Tuesday, but their home fans gave them all the motivation they needed on Thursday. They never let Porter get on the board and left with a 10-0 victory. The result was nothing new for the Eagles, who have now won 15 matchups by six runs or more so far this season.

| 04/23/26 vs Catoosa | 2 |
The team relied heavily on Henry O'Meilia, who went 2-for-3 with three runs, one stolen base, and one double. He is on a roll when it comes to stolen bases, as he's now snagged at least one in each of the last four games he's played. Another player making a difference was Jayden Williams, who went 1-for-2 with two RBI and one run.
Edison was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .429. That was just more of the same: they've now posted a batting average of .370 or higher in four consecutive games.
Meanwhile, Chouteau-Mazie didn't have quite enough to beat Porter on Thursday and fell 8-7. The Wildcats have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
Tayler Applegate was cooking despite his team's loss, going 1-for-3 with two runs, one double, and one RBI.
Edison pushed their record up to 23-14 with the win, which was their 12th straight at home. Those home victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 3.8 runs on average over those games. As for Chouteau-Mazie, their defeat dropped their record down to 19-12.
Chouteau-Mazie's pitching crew has a crucial task ahead of them: Edison has hit smart this season, having averaged an OBP of .510. It's a different story for Chouteau-Mazie, though, as they've only averaged .361. Will they be able to contain Edison's hitters?
Everything went Edison's way against Chouteau-Mazie in their previous matchup back in March of 2024, as Edison made off with a 13-5 win. Do the Eagles have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Wildcats turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
