The Odyssey Charter School Titans suffered their biggest loss yet this season on Friday. They were beaten by Pine 51-14. While losing is never fun, Odyssey Charter School can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Florida basketball rankings (they are ranked 606th, while Pine is ranked 182nd).
Despite the defeat, Odyssey Charter School saw an underclassman step up: Natalia DeJesus-Bruno scored six points.
Odyssey Charter School's defeat dropped their record down to 4-8. As for Pine, the victory for they keeps them at an undefeated 13-0.
Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Odyssey Charter School will take on Melbourne Central Catholic at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Melbourne Central Catholic's defense has only allowed 29.5 points per game this season, so Odyssey Charter School's offense will have their work cut out for them. As for Pine, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Dreyfoos School of the Arts at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
