Gavin Hardeman Goes Supernova in Lyons-Decatur Northeast Defeat
Starting off the list is Lyons-Decatur Northeast's Gavin Hardeman, who we judged to be the best player in the league this week. Hardeman rushed for 248 yards and three touchdowns while picking up 8.3 yards per carry. Those 248 rushing yards gave him a new career-high.
Bancroft-Rosalie had to have seen this coming; the last time they saw Hardeman it was a similar story. Back in September of 2023 (the last time Hardeman saw the Panthers), he rushed for 73 yards and two touchdowns on only six carries.

Big Game from Buchholz As Bancroft-Rosalie Won 54-42
Nick Buchholz's big game helped extend Bancroft-Rosalie's winning streak to seven on Friday. Buchholz did his part (and then some), throwing for 277 yards and five touchdowns while picking up 11.1 yards per attempt, and also rushing for 37 yards and two touchdowns for the 'W'.
Unfortunately for Lyons-Decatur Northeast, this isn't the first big game they've seen from Buchholz. When Buchholz last faced the Cougars back in September of 2023, he rushed for 42 yards and two touchdowns, and also threw for 135 yards and a touchdown on only ten passes.

Bancroft-Rosalie Wins Seventh-Straight Thanks to Graysen Briggs
Graysen Briggs's big game helped extend Bancroft-Rosalie's winning streak to seven on Friday. Briggs was dynamite, rushing for 108 yards and a touchdown. The bulk of those rushing yards came from one huge play: a run that gained an incredible 75 yards.
Lyons-Decatur Northeast's probably not too fond of Briggs given he always seems to get the better of them. When Briggs last faced the Cougars back in September of 2023, he rushed for 171 yards and two touchdowns on only 14 carries.

Braylon Wegner was instrumental in extending Bancroft-Rosalie's winning streak to seven on Friday. Nobody could stop Wegner as he picked up 142 receiving yards and two touchdowns.
Wegner must have Lyons-Decatur Northeast's number; he was a force to be reckoned with the last time he faced them too. Back in September of 2023 (the last time Wegner saw the Cougars), he picked up 108 receiving yards and two touchdowns.

Landen Cooper Turns in Season-Best Effort
Lyons-Decatur Northeast came up short on Friday despite Landen Cooper delivering his best game to date. Cooper rushed for 221 yards and a touchdown while picking up 10.5 yards per carry, good enough to set a new career-high in rushing yards in the process. He showed off some serious burst, turning on the afterburners on one carry for 52 yards.
This season, Cooper has run in 8 touchdowns while averaging 125.6 rushing yards per game. He is looking even better than he did last year: after seven games last season, he was only averaging 68.57 rushing yards per game.
