There's no place like home for the Heritage Christian Academy Warriors, who bounced back after a tough loss on the road on Monday. They managed a 39-35 victory over Fort Campbell on Thursday. The win was just what Heritage Christian Academy needed coming off of a 53-14 defeat in their prior contest.
Fort Campbell's lost despite a true team effort on the offense, the best among them being Laticiyia Cabrera, who scored 8 points along with 10 rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of Rosella Rajj, who dropped a double-double on 16 points and 11 rebounds.
Heritage Christian Academy's victory bumped their record up to 1-2. As for Fort Campbell, they still haven't won a game yet this season and fell to 0-4.
Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Heritage Christian Academy will take on Christian Fellowship at 5:30 p.m. on Friday. Fort Campbell won't have much time to rest: their next match is against Lyon County at 6:00 p.m. on December 8th. Lyon County presents a significant challenge as they come into the match much higher ranked than Fort Campbell in Kentucky (Lyon County is ranked 41st, while Fort Campbell is ranked 179th).
