Harrisburg is 10-0 against the Bobcats since December of 2016, and they'll have a chance to extend that success on Tuesday. The Harrisburg Bulldogs will look to defend their home court against the Meridian Bobcats at 5:00 p.m. Hopefully Harrisburg is not getting complacent, as they presents a significant challenge as they come into the match much higher ranked than the Bobcats in Illinois (the Bulldogs are ranked 173rd, while the Bobcats are ranked 398th).
Last Thursday, Harrisburg was just a bucket shy of victory and fell 47-46 to the Tigers.
Meanwhile, Meridian put the finishing touches on their 11th blowout victory of the season on Thursday. Everything went their way against Cobden as Meridian made off with a 48-23 victory. The victory made it back-to-back wins for Meridian.
Harrisburg's loss dropped their record down to 20-10. As for Meridian, they are on a roll lately: they've won eight of their last ten contests, which provided a nice bump to their 17-8 record this season.
Everything went Harrisburg's way against the Bobcats in their previous matchup back in February of 2023 as the Bulldogs made off with a 56-35 win. Will Harrisburg repeat their success, or do the Bobcats have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
