Nokomis' win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Mackenzie Mehochko, who scored six points along with seven rebounds and four steals. Grace Dewerff was another key contributor, scoring 13 points along with three steals.
When it comes to explaining why Cowden-Herrick/Beecher City lost, one person who can't be blamed is Ruby Stuckemeyer. Despite the final result, she scored 14 points along with six rebounds and four blocks. The team also got some help courtesy of Macee Rodman, who scored 14 points.
Nokomis pushed their record up to 19-10 with that win, which was their fourth straight on the road.
