The MAST Community Charter Panthers will challenge the Collegium Charter Cougar at 3:45 p.m. on Monday. MAST Community Charter is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 9 runs per game this season.
MAST Community Charter took a loss when they played away from home on Friday, but their home fans gave them all the motivation they needed on Monday. They were the clear victors by a 15-4 margin over Philadelphia Academy Charter. The high-flying hitting performance was a huge turnaround for the Panthers considering their two-run performance the game before.

Rylie Fitzsimmons made a big impact no matter where she played. She looked comfortable on the mound, striking out 11 batters over six innings while giving up four earned runs off five hits. That's the most strikeouts she has posted since back in April. She was also solid in the batter's box, going 3-for-4 with three runs and one stolen base.
In other batting news, Jordan Jennings was a standout: she went 4-for-5 with three runs, four RBI, and one double. Another player making a difference was Jessica Leinenbach, who went a perfect 4-for-4 with three RBI, one stolen base, and one run.
MAST Community Charter always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .564. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Philadelphia Academy Charter only posted an OBP of .308.
Meanwhile, Collegium Charter had to endure a three-game losing streak, but that streak is no more. They had just enough and edged out Calvary Christian Academy 6-4.
Hannah Quinn spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered just two earned (and two unearned) runs on eight hits.
On the hitting side, Jorja Quinn was excellent, going 3-for-4 with two stolen bases and two runs. Those hits were her first of the season. The team also got some help courtesy of Shaina Ulmer, who got on base in two of her four plate appearances with two stolen bases and two runs.
MAST Community Charter's victory bumped their record up to 13-4. As for Collegium Charter, they picked up their first road win, bumping their record up to 2-10.
Collegium Charter's pitching crew has a crucial task ahead of them: MAST Community Charter has been making plenty of contact this season, having averaged 8.9 hits per game. It's a different story for Collegium Charter, though, as they've been averaging 10.8 hits. Given MAST Community Charter's sizable advantage in that area, the Cougar will need to find a way to close that gap.
