The Plymouth Big Red will face off against the Mt. Gilead Indians at 5:15 p.m. on Wednesday. Plymouth is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 6.2 runs per game this season.
If Plymouth beats Mt. Gilead with six runs on Wednesday, it's going to be the squad's new lucky number: they've won their past two contests with that exact score. The Big Red walked away with a 6-2 victory over Western Reserve on Tuesday. The win was nothing new for the Big Red as they're now sitting on three straight.
Lincoln Distl was a major factor while hitting and pitching. He didn't allow a single earned run and allowed only two hits over seven innings pitched. He has been consistent recently: he hasn't given up more than one earned run in three consecutive appearances. He was also solid in the batter's box, going 1-for-3 with one run, one double, and one RBI.

Gilead, they have been struggling recently as they've lost ten of their last 11 matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 4-18 record this season.
