Silver Stage is 0-10 against the Mustangs since February of 2018 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Tuesday. The Silver Stage Nighthawks will head out on the road to take on the Pershing County Mustangs at 6:00 p.m. Silver Stage is no doubt hoping to put an end to a 16-game streak of away losses dating back to last season.
Last Friday, Silver Stage took a serious blow against the Longhorns, falling 47-6.
Meanwhile, after a string of nine wins, Pershing County's good fortune finally ran out on Friday. Their rough 53-28 loss to North Tahoe might stick with them for a while. The loss unfortunately continues a disappointing trend for Pershing County in their matchups with the Lakers: they've now lost six in a row.
Silver Stage's loss dropped their record down to 2-16. As for Pershing County, their defeat ended a 11-game streak of away wins dating back to last season and brought them to 21-2.
Silver Stage was dealt a bruising 55-14 defeat at the hands of the Mustangs when the teams last played back in January. The matchup was all but decided by halftime, at which point Silver Stage was down 31-6.
