Tremayne Hill's Big Game Leads Katy over Katy Taylor
Starting off the list is Katy's Tremayne Hill, who we judged to be the best player in the league this week. Hill rushed for 104 yards and three touchdowns on only ten carries. He has been hot recently, having posted two or more rushing touchdowns the last three times he's played.
Katy Taylor had to have seen this coming; the last time they saw Hill it was a similar story. Back in November of 2023 (the last time Hill saw the Mustangs), he rushed for 183 yards and a touchdown while picking up 9.2 yards per carry.

Beau Bryant and Co. Win Seventh in a Row
Beau Bryant's big game helped extend Jordan's winning streak to seven on Friday. Nobody could stop Bryant as he threw for 228 yards and two touchdowns on only 19 passes, and also rushed for 65 yards and a touchdown on only nine carries.
Jordan pushed their record up to 7-0 with the win, which was their sixth straight on the road dating back to last season. Bryant and Jordan will challenge Katy at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.

Big Game from Meadows As Tompkins Won 42-7
Ethan Meadows continued his hot streak on Friday by dropping his third-straight game with at least two rushing touchdowns. He rushed for 88 yards and three touchdowns on only five carries. He really tore up the turf during one magnificent 80-yard run.
The win got Tompkins back to even at 3-3. Meadows and Tompkins will face off against Cinco Ranch at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday.

A Season-Best Effort from Josh Davis Leads Tompkins over Morton Ranch
Tompkins was led to victory by Josh Davis, who turned in his biggest game of the season on Friday. Davis wasn't messing around, picking up two sacks and making 11 total tackles. The match was his sixth straight with seven or more total tackles. He is becoming a predictor of Tompkins' success: when he posts at least two sacks the team is 2-1 (and 1-2 when he doesn't).

Jordan picked up their seventh consecutive win on Friday thanks in part to Zion Jones. Jones was unstoppable, rushing for 137 yards and a touchdown. The dominant performance gave him a new career-high in rushing yards.
On the year, Jones has run in 10 touchdowns while averaging 73.4 rushing yards per game. He's made a big improvement compared to last season: at this point last year, he was only averaging 2.14 rushing yards per game.
