Jordan has enjoyed the comforts of home their last three games, but now they'll head out on the road. They will face off against the Central Chargers at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Jordan has insisted on making their lastthree contests complete nail-biters, turning in a record of 0-3 during that stretch of close contests.
Jordan pushed their score all the way to 63 on Tuesday, but even that wasn't enough to win. They were just a bucket shy of victory and fell 64-63 to Rutland. Despite running the score up even higher than they did in their prior game on Saturday (55), Jordan still had to take the loss.
Central was handed a three-point loss in their last game, but they sure didn't let that happen against the Gryphons on Tuesday. Everything went Central's way against the Gryphons as the Chargers made off with a 74-50 victory.
Jordan's defeat was their third straight at home, which dropped their record down to 2-19. Even worse, they were so close so many times: the defeats came by an average of only two points. As for Central, their win ended a three-game drought on the road and puts them at 7-14.
Things could have been worse for Jordan, but things could have been a whole lot better as they took a 79-62 loss to the Chargers in their previous meeting back in January. Can Jordan avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
