The Central Valley Academy Thunder stacked a tenth blowout win onto their ever-increasing hoard on Thursday. They claimed a resounding 71-37 victory over Notre Dame on the road. The matchup was pretty much decided by the half, when the score had already reached 36-16.
It was another big night for Deacon Judd, who dropped a double-double on 31 points and 16 rebounds. Judd is crushing the point category: he's posted at least 20 every time he's taken the court this season. Tom Jacquays was another key contributor, scoring ten points along with three steals.
Central Valley Academy's win bumped their record up to 16-2. As for Notre Dame, they still haven't won a game yet this season and fell to 0-9.
Central Valley Academy will look to defend their home court on Tuesday against Holland Patent at 7:00 p.m. As for Notre Dame, they won't have much time to rest: their next matchup is against New Hartford at 7:00 p.m. on February 9th. Notre Dame is coming into the matchup with eight straight losses on the road, meaning New Hartford will have to defend against a team hungry for a win.
