It was a good run, but the Chamblee Bulldogs unfortunately witnessed the end of their four-game winning streak on Friday. They received a tough blow as they fell 72-56 to Lithonia. Having run the score up that high, both teams might be doing some extra defensive drills very soon.
Several Bulldogs players turned in solid performances, despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Ramon McDaniel, Jr., who scored 15 points. Eli Starr was another key contributor, scoring 11 points along with 9 rebounds.
Chamblee's defeat dropped their record down to 5-4. As for Lithonia, the win makes it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 4-5.
Chamblee will head out on the road to face off against Decatur at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. One thing working in Decatur's favor is that they have posted big point totals in their last four matchups. As for Lithonia, they will be playing in front of their home fans against M.L. King at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
