Beechcroft extended the longest winning streak in Columbus City - North this week by beating Northland, 41-0. This was the team's seventh consecutive win.
Linden-McKinley made the biggest jump in the national rankings this week, rising to 12,256 from 12,398. The improvement was the result of 28-16 victory over the Panthers last week.
Whetstone's dynamic duo of RAMROTH FINNEGAN and YUSEF CONTEH proved tough for Centennial to stop, as they were the top passer and receiver in the league this week. FINNEGAN threw for 266 yards and two touchdowns and CONTEH had 117 yards receiving. CHRIS NORTH helped Whetstone's passing attack out by catching six balls for 55 yards.
Kevin Greenhow was the most productive running back in the league this week. He ran for 157 yards on 27 carries as Brookhaven beat the Stars. David Peoples also contributed to the rushing game with 75 yards on the ground.
6-foot-3 quarterback FINNEGAN of Whetstone is the league leader in passing yards this season with 2458. He has also thrown 20 touchdowns. On the ground, Beechcroft's Maurice Hale has rushed for 889 yards which leads the league. The leading receiver in the league this season is Khaleed Franklin. The Beechcroft star has 33 catches for 710 yards.
