The Abraham Lincoln Railsplitters pushed their score all the way to 61 on Thursday, but even that wasn't enough to win. Their  rough  81-61 loss to Murrell Dobbins Vo-Tech  might stick with them for a while. While losing is never fun, Abraham Lincoln can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage  in MaxPreps' Pennsylvania basketball rankings  (they are ranked 291st, while Murrell Dobbins Vo-Tech is ranked 109th).
 Abraham Lincoln lost  despite a true team effort on the offense, the best among them being   Malachi Montgomery, who  scored 16 points. The team also got some help courtesy of  Samair Peterson, who  scored 14 points.
  Zachary Campbell was  his usual excellent self,  scoring 33 points for Murrell Dobbins Vo-Tech. Campbell has been hot recently, having posted 15 or more points the last four times he's  played.  Haneef Davis was another key contributor,  scoring 14 points.
 Abraham Lincoln has  not been sharp recently, as they've  lost four of their last five contests,  which put a noticeable dent in their 4-10 record this season. As for Murrell Dobbins Vo-Tech, they pushed their record up to 12-5 with that  win, which was their 13th straight  at home.
 Both  squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Abraham Lincoln will take on Audenried at 3:15  p.m.  on Tuesday. The two teams have had a bumpy ride up to this point with ten consecutive losses for Audenried and three for Abraham Lincoln. As for Murrell Dobbins Vo-Tech, they will look to defend their home court  on Tuesday against Constitution at 3:15  p.m. Hopefully Constitution focused on turnovers this week  since the team gave up 16 on Thursday.
