The Glacier Wolfpack's road trip will continue as they head out to face the Hellgate Knights at 6:00 p.m. on January 25th. Glacier will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps Montana Rankings (they are ranked 80th, while Hellgate is ranked 20th).
Last Friday, Glacier beat Flathead 60-50.
Meanwhile, Hellgate came tearing into Friday's match with six straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 14.2 points) and they left with even more momentum. They put the hurt on Sentinel with a sharp 53-33 victory. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest win Hellgate has posted against Sentinel since January 31, 2020.
The victory got Glacier back to even at 4-4. As for Hellgate, they pushed their record up to 8-1 with that victory, which was their fourth straight on the road.
Glacier might still be hurting after the 57-33 defeat they got from Hellgate in their previous meeting back in March of 2023. Can Glacier avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
