The Kaufer Seahawks put another one in the bag on Tuesday to keep their perfect season alive. Everything went their way against Benavides as Kaufer made off with a 50-27 win. That result was just more of the same for these two, as Kaufer also won the last time the pair played back in November of 2022.
Madison Arredondo was her usual excellent self, scoring 16 points along with 7 rebounds and 5 assists. Arredondo is absolutely dominating the block category: she's posted at least two every time she's taken the court this season. Caitlin Medlock was another key contributor, scoring 11 points along with 5 rebounds and 3 steals.
Kaufer's win bumped their record up to 5-0. As for Benavides, they still haven't won a game yet this season and fell to 0-3.
Kaufer will head out on the road to face off against Zapata at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday. As for Benavides, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Ben Bolt at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Ben Bolt comes in still looking for their first win of the season.
