Estill County will be defending their home turf for the first time on Friday when they go up against Western Hills in at 7:30 PM. The MaxPreps rankings say the odds are against Estill County, but that can only make success all the sweeter.
Estill County had to kick off their season with an away game, and unfortunately wound up with a long bus ride home. They were given a punishing 0-58 loss at the hands of Paintsville. Estill County were in a tough position by the half, with the score sitting at 0-40.
Meanwhile,, Western Hills couldn't capitalize on their home-field advantage in their season opener. They took a 20-27 hit to the loss column at the hands of Franklin County.
