El Camino is 6-1 against Canyon Crest Academy since May of 2021 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Tuesday. The Wildcats will take on the Ravens at 4:00 p.m. El Camino will be looking to extend their current four-game winning streak.
It was a proper cat-fight when El Camino took on Vista on Tuesday. The Wildcats were the clear victors by an 8-0 margin over the Panthers. Considering the Wildcats have won eight contests by more than six runs this season, Tuesday's blowout was nothing new.

The result came thanks to Kailey Stanford's shutout, as she gave up just three hits and racked up seven Ks. She has been consistent recently: she hasn't tossed less than six strikeouts in three consecutive appearances.
At the plate, Makayla Boone was incredible, going 2-for-4 with one home run, three RBI, and two runs. That home run marked the first that she has launched this season. Ai'Lynnd A'Ano was another key player, going 2-for-4 with two runs, one stolen base, and one RBI.
Meanwhile, Canyon Crest Academy didn't have quite enough to beat Oceanside on Thursday and fell 12-11. The Ravens have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
Alexis McNamee made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and went 3-for-4 with two runs and two RBI. The team also got some help courtesy of Sophie Kearse, who went 3-for-5 with two runs, one double, and one RBI.
Canyon Crest Academy's loss dropped their record down to 11-8-1. As for El Camino, their victory bumped their record up to 12-6.
El Camino's speedy runners might be the difference in Tuesday's match. The Wildcats have been swiping bases left and right this season, having averaged 3.7 stolen bases per game. It's a different story for Canyon Crest Academy, though, as they've been averaging only 0.7 stolen bases. Will they be able to secure the bases, or will El Camino continue to outrun the ball?
El Camino beat Canyon Crest Academy 5-1 in their previous meeting back in March of 2024. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Wildcats since the team won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
