Genesee extended their winning streak to three games thanks to a huge performance from Averie Zinn. The Genesee Wolves took their match on Friday with ease, bagging a 57-6 win over the Mt. Morris Panthers thanks in part to Zinn, who dropped a double-double on 32 points and 18 steals. Her evening made it 22 games in a row in which she has scored at least ten points.

Another player making a difference was Reginae Randle, who posted six boards. What's more, she also racked up two steals, the most she's had since back in January.

Genesee's victory bumped their record up to 5-1. As for Mt. Morris, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-4.

Genesee and Bridgeport will face off at 5:00 p.m. on Saturday without much rest having both just played. As for Mt. Morris, they will have a little extra prep time after the defeat as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Birch Run at 6:00 p.m. on January 10, 2025.
