Deegan Prater made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and got on base in four of his six plate appearances with one home run, three RBI, and two runs. That home run was his first of the season.
Meanwhile, Marissa/Coulterville made easy work of Dupo on Tuesday and carried off a 9-3 victory. The Meteors haven't had any issues with the Tigers recently, as the game was their eighth consecutive win against them.
Carter Daugherty was a major factor no matter where he played. He tossed two innings while giving up no earned runs or hits. What's more, he posted three strikeouts, the most he's had since back in April of 2024. He was also stellar in the batter's box, scoring a run and stealing a base while going 3-for-3.

Back at the plate, the team relied heavily on Rhett Fritsche, who scored two runs and stole two bases while getting on base in three of his five plate appearances. The pitchers for both teams better look sharp on Thursday as neither team is afraid to steal. Dupo has been swiping bases left and right this season, having averaged 2.8 stolen bases per game. However, it's not like Marissa/Coulterville struggles in that department as they've been averaging an even more impressive 4 stolen bases. The only question left is which team can snag more.
Dupo suffered a grim 9-3 defeat to Marissa/Coulterville when the teams last played on Tuesday. Can the Tigers avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
