The McKinney Christian Academy Mustangs's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Tuesday after their fifth straight loss. They had to suffer through a rough 65-24 loss at the hands of Brook Hill. McKinney Christian Academy has struggled against Brook Hill recently, as their contest on Tuesday was their fourth consecutive lost matchup.
Despite the loss, McKinney Christian Academy saw an underclassman step up: Sadie Zbranek scored 13 points. Hannah Massingale was another key contributor, scoring five points.
McKinney Christian Academy dropped their record down to 4-15 with that loss, which was their third straight on the road. As for Brook Hill, they are on a roll lately: they've won eight of their last ten contests, which provided a nice bump to their 19-8 record this season.
Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. McKinney Christian Academy will challenge Vanguard College Prep at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Brook Hill, they will head out on the road to take on Covenant at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Covenant is still on the hunt for that elusive first 'W'.
