The Heritage Patriots were the 86-74 winner over the Salem Seminoles when they last played one another back in December of 2022, but their luck changed this time around. Heritage received a tough blow on Friday as they fell 60-42 to Salem. Heritage has now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
Several Patriots players turned in solid performances, despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Kirk Seeley, who scored 13 points. The contest was Seeley's sixth in a row with at least ten points. Donavyn Gates was another key contributor, scoring 9 points.
Heritage has fallen quite a ways from their 18-9 record last season and are now at 2-4. As for Salem, the victory got them back to even at 3-3.
Heritage will head out on the road to face off against Upson-Lee at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Salem, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Social Circle at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Social Circle is coming into the match on a three-game losing streak.
