It was a good run, but Reagan unfortunately witnessed the end of their four-game winning streak on Saturday. They fell 2-0 to the Ayden - Grifton Chargers. The match marked the first time this year in which the Raiders were not able to get on the board.

Elly Randolph paced Reagan's offense, picking up ten kills. Randolph got some help from Callie Largent and her seven assists. Randolph also made an impact serving: she shared the team lead in aces with Brielynd Riddle, racking up two apiece.

Reagan's defeat dropped their record down to 6-2. As for Ayden - Grifton, the win was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 5-2.

Reagan didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 3-0 victory against Grimsley on the 19th. As for Ayden - Grifton, they have also already played their next contest, a 3-2 loss against Cleveland on the 19th.
