On Tuesday, the Pittsfield Saukees were out to avenge their 52-46 defeat to the Beardstown Tigers from their previous meeting last February, but they had no such luck. Pittsfield fell to Beardstown 58-49. This makes it the second loss in a row for the Saukees.
Pittsfield's overall record fell to 10-14. The win makes it two in a row for Beardstown and bumps their record up to 16-9.
Pittsfield will stay at home against Barry Western Friday. If you head out to watch the game, expect to stay the whole 32 minutes: the MaxPreps rankings predict a close contest. Beardstown is staying on the road on Tuesday to face off against Lewistown. The Tigers won't have the home-court advantage, but they do enjoy an advantage in the MaxPreps rankings.
