The Fayette Academy Vikings will venture away from home to  square off against the Hardin County Tigers  at 7:30  p.m.  on Tuesday. Both  are strolling into their  contests after big wins in their previous games.
 While Fayette Academy didn't have the best season last year (they finished 11-18), it's starting to look like those struggles are a thing of the past. They took their  game  on Tuesday with ease, bagging  a  62-33 win over Lakeland Preparatory. The Vikings have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won three  matches by 21  points or more this season.
 Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Fayette Academy to victory, but perhaps none more so than   Clay Anderson, who  went 5 for 10 en route to 11 points plus six  assists and three  steals. Another player making a difference was  Zane Pike, who  dropped  a double-double on 15 points and ten  rebounds.
 Fayette Academy was working as a unit and  finished the game with 18  assists. That's the most  assists they've posted since back in January.
 Meanwhile,  it was a proper cat-fight when  Hardin County faced off against Adamsville on Tuesday. Hardin County breezed by Adamsville to the tune of  66-32. The  victory made it back-to-back  wins for the Tigers.
 Fayette Academy's victory  ended  a  seven-game drought on the road  dating back to last season and  puts them at 4-1. As for Hardin County, their win bumped their record up to 2-0.
 Fayette Academy lost to Hardin County on the road  by a decisive  73-59 margin  in their previous meeting  back in December of 2023. Can Fayette Academy avenge their  loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
