The Ontario Christian Knights's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Friday after their third straight loss. They fell 70-60 to Arrowhead Christian. Having run the score up that high, both teams might be doing some extra defensive drills very soon.
Ontario Christian's loss came despite strong showings from Cole Jones and Alex Yang. Jones scored 23 points along with nine rebounds, while Yang scored 20 points along with five assists. Another player making a difference was Jack Schloeman, who scored four points along with five assists and three steals.
Ontario Christian's defeat dropped their record down to 13-9. As for Arrowhead Christian, they have been performing well recently as they've won nine of their last 11 matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 13-4 record this season.
Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Ontario Christian will challenge Woodcrest Christian at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Woodcrest Christian is on a four-game streak of home losses, Ontario Christian a four-game streak of away losses, but someone's luck is about to change. Arrowhead Christian on the road again on Monday and play against Linfield Christian at 7:30 p.m. on January 22nd.
