The Rich Rebels waltzed into their matchup on Friday with three straight wins but they left with four. They came out on top against Tabiona by a score of 50-42. That result was just more of the same for these two, as Rich also won the last time the pair played back in February of 2023.
It was another big night for Haydee Pugmire, who scored 13 points along with two steals. Another player making a difference was Braylyn Pugmire, who scored nine points.
Rich has been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 7-4 record this season. As for Tabiona, their loss ended a six-game streak of wins at home dating back to last season and dropped them to 10-3.
Rich will take on Tintic at 4:30 p.m. on Saturday. As for Tabiona, they will head out on the road to take on Manila at 5:30 p.m. on Saturday. The matchup should be an exciting one, as these teams are ranked near one another in Utah (Manila is ranked 52nd, while Tabiona is ranked 46th).
