There's no place like home for the Savanna Rebels, who bounced back after a tough loss on the road last Saturday. They enjoyed a cozy 69-53 victory over Bolsa Grande on Wednesday. With that victory, Savanna brought their scoring average up to 51.8 points per game.
Savanna was led to victory by Paul Henderson and Dontey Henderson. Henderson scored 20 points, while Henderson scored 21 points along with 7 rebounds. That makes it two consecutive games in which Henderson has scored at least 25% of Savanna's points. Another player making a difference was Brandon Ellis, who scored 8 points.
Savanna's win bumped their record up to 2-3. As for Bolsa Grande, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-3.
Savanna will be playing at home against Saddleback at 6:30 p.m. on December 8th. As for Bolsa Grande, they will head out on the road to face off against Orange at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Orange comes in still looking for their first win of the season.
