Softball Recap: Jackson County Adds Another Dominant Win to Their Ledger

There's no place like home for Jackson County, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Thursday. They put the hurt on the Apalachee Wildcats with a sharp 8-0 victory on Tuesday. The Panthers might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won four contests by seven runs or more this season.

Jackson County has also now won eight of their last 10 games at home. That run has powered them to a 4-3 record this season. That said, the team wasn't facing the toughest opposition over that stretch, as it included 1-6 Apalachee and 1-3 Alcovy (their opponents had an average overall winning percentage of 28.3% over those games). As for Apalachee, they have traveled a rocky road this season, having lost six of their first seven games. That leaves them at a 1-6 record this season.
