The Falcon Falcons entered their tilt with the Coronado Cougars with four consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with five. Falcon came out on top against Coronado by a score of 72-65 on Saturday. Having run the score up that high, both teams might be doing some extra defensive drills very soon.
Christian Bertholf was his usual excellent self, dropping a double-double on 27 points and 12 rebounds. As a matter of fact, that's the most points he has scored all season. Jeremiah Potts was another key contributor, scoring 13 points along with five assists.
Falcon's win was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 10-3. As for Coronado, their loss dropped their record down to 5-10.
Falcon will stay at home for another game and welcome Fountain-Fort Carson at 7:00 p.m. on January 22nd. As for Coronado, they will head out on the road to face off against Canon City at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. Canon City is coming into the contest on a three-game losing streak.
