Make it three blowout wins for the Lakeside Knights this season. They blew past Thunder Ridge 56-26 at home. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest win Lakeside has posted yet this season.
Lakeside was led to victory by Jace Cunningham and Reece Remus. Cunningham scored 16 points along with seven rebounds and two steals, while Remus dropped a double-double on 21 points and 11 rebounds. Remus hasn't dropped below eight rebounds for five straight games. The team also got some help courtesy of Kaden Mccoy, who scored two points along with seven assists and five rebounds.
Lakeside's victory bumped their record up to 6-3. As for Thunder Ridge, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-5.
Lakeside will head out on the road to square off against Lincoln at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Lincoln is out to stop a five-game streak of losses at home. Thunder Ridge will take on Pike Valley at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. One thing working in Pike Valley's favor is that they have posted big point totals in their last three matchups.
