The North Thurston Rams will head out on the road to face off against the Peninsula Seahawks at 3:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Expect the scorekeeper to be kept busy: if their previous games are any indication, these teams will really light up the scoreboard.
North Thurston took a loss when they played away from home on Friday, but their home fans gave them all the motivation they needed on Monday. Everything went their way against Lakes as they made off with a 37-3 win. The Rams have beaten the Lancers the last three times they've met, but they better watch out: this was the closest the Lancers has come to flipping the script.
Syriahs Trolson made a big impact no matter where she played. She struck out nine batters over five innings while giving up three earned runs off six hits. Those nine strikeouts gave her a new career-high. She was also stellar in the batter's box, going 2-for-5 with three runs, one triple, and two RBI.

Meanwhile, winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Peninsula). Their pitchers stepped up to hand Capital a 21-0 shutout on Monday. The team's explosion at the plate also rewarded the Seahawks with their most commanding win of the season.
North Thurston's first victory this season bumped their record up to 1-2. As for Peninsula, they now have a winning record of 3-2.
North Thurston suffered a grim 13-3 defeat to Peninsula in their previous meeting back in April of 2025. Can the Rams avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
