Football Recap: Beaver Skates Past Enterprise with Ease

Beaver won the last time they faced Enterprise and things went their way on Thursday too. The Beavers took their game with ease, bagging a 55-20 win over the Wolves. Considering the Beavers have won six contests by more than 30 points this season, Thursday's blowout was nothing new.

Davin Orton had another great game (as he tends to do), rushing for 104 yards, while also throwing for 70 yards and two TDs.

Orton was just one part of a punishing run game: Beaver was unstoppable on the ground and finished the game with 407 rushing yards. That's the most rushing yards they've managed all season.

Special teams also deserves some recognition, posting 13 points in total. The biggest highlight from special teams (and perhaps the team as a whole) came courtesy of Maverick Albrecht, who ran a punt back for a touchdown.

Beaver has been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 8-2 record this season. Those victories came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 13.7 points on average over those games. As for Enterprise, their defeat dropped their record down to 4-6.

As of now, neither Beaver nor the Wolves have any future games scheduled.
