The Chaparral Bobcats will head out on the road to take on the Round Rock Dragons at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Chaparral has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last three games.

Despite their defeat, Chaparral saw several players rise to the challenge and make noteworthy plays. Demiyah Carter, who posted ten points along with five assists and three steals, was perhaps the best of all. Carter has been hot for a while, having posted two or more steals the last 11 times she's played. The team also got some help courtesy of D'Miya Spruill, who went 5-for-9 on her way to 10 points and six rebounds.
Meanwhile, Round Rock won against McNeil on Tuesday with 48 points and they decided to stick to that point total again on Friday. The Dragons took down Cedar Ridge 48-33. The final result isn't all that surprising considering the Dragons' considerable advantage in MaxPreps' Texas basketball rankings (they are ranked 72nd, while the Raiders are ranked 259th).
The win made it two in a row for Round Rock and bumps their season record up to 13-3. As for Chaparral, their loss ended a four-game streak of away wins and brought them to 13-4.
Chaparral couldn't quite get it done against Round Rock in their previous meeting back in December of 2022 as they fell 60-48. Can the Bobcats avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
