The Titusville Rockets will square off against the Grove City Eagles at 4:00 p.m. on Monday. Titusville is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 9.3 runs per game this season.

Grove City will take on a team with plenty of momentum: Titusville extended their winning streak to three on Thursday. The Rockets came within a single run of losing the streak, but they secured a 5-4 W against Hickory.

Jaxon Covell made a big impact no matter where he played. He pitched 1.2 innings while giving up no earned runs off one hit. He has been consistent recently: he hasn't given up more than one hit in three consecutive appearances. He was also stellar in the batter's box, going 1-for-2 with one home run, two runs, and one stolen base. That home run was his first of the season.

Covell wasn't the only one making solid contact as six players wound up with at least one hit. One of them was Kameron Mong, who went 2-for-4 with one RBI.

Titusville was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .435. That was just more of the same: they've now posted a batting average of .370 or higher in three consecutive matchups.

Meanwhile, Grove City didn't have quite enough to beat Neshannock on Thursday and fell 4-3. The Eagles have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Grove City's defeat dropped their record down to 3-11. As for Titusville, they pushed their record up to 13-2 with the victory, which was their eighth straight at home dating back to last season.

Grove City's pitching crew has a crucial task ahead of them: Titusville hasn't had any issues making contact this season, having earned a batting average of .365. It's a different story for Grove City, though, as they've only averaged .209. Will they be able to contain Titusville's hitters?

Titusville came out on top in a nail-biter against Grove City when the teams last played back in April, sneaking past 12-11. Do the Rockets have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Eagles turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
