There's no place like home for the Plainview Pirates, who bounced back after a tough loss on the road on Tuesday. They took down Neligh-Oakdale 48-31 on Friday. That's another feather in the cap for Plainview, who also won these teams' last head-to-head.
It was another big night for Abbie Kromarek, who almost dropped a triple-double on 25 points, nine rebounds, and ten steals. The match was her fourth in a row with at least ten points. Madelynn Dougherty was another key contributor, scoring seven points along with seven rebounds and six steals.
Neligh-Oakdale struggled to work together and finished the game with only two assists. They were crushed by their opponents in that department as Plainview racked up nine assists.
Plainview is on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four contests, which provided a nice bump to their 8-4 record this season. As for Neligh-Oakdale, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-9.
