The Astronaut War Eagles will challenge the Titusville Terriers at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Astronaut is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 7 runs per game this season.
Astronaut is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup on Monday. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 7-6 victory over Space Coast. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest win the War Eagles have posted against the Vipers since April 22, 2022.

Astronaut saw six different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Holden Quinn, who scored two runs and stole two bases while going 2-for-4. The War Eagles are 5-2 when Quinn posts two or more runs, but 2-11 otherwise. Another was Brennan Waldrop, who went a perfect 2-for-2 with two runs and one triple.
Meanwhile, Titusville never let their opponents score on Monday. They put the hurt on Cocoa with a sharp 16-0 victory. The high-flying hitting performance was a huge turnaround for the Terriers considering their two-run performance the contest before.
Jesse Decter was a major factor no matter where he played. He looked comfortable on the mound, pitching one inning while giving up no earned runs or hits. Decter was also big at the plate, going a perfect 1-for-1 with one home run and three RBI.
In other pitching news, Ethan Lynskey looked comfortable as he pitched one inning while giving up no earned runs or hits. He has been nothing but reliable on the mound: he hasn't given up more than two hits in seven consecutive appearances.
Back at the plate, the team relied heavily on Nolan Edwards, who scored two runs and stole a base while going 2-for-3. What's more, he posted three RBI, the most he's had since back in March. Chase Hill was another key player, getting on base in all three of his plate appearances with one double and one RBI.
Titusville always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .633. That's the best OBP they've posted all season.
Astronaut's record now sits at 7-13. As for Titusville, their record is now 9-13.
