Alexis Tighe made a splash no matter where she played. On the mound, she struck out seven batters over three innings while giving up no earned runs or hits (and not a single walk). She has been consistent for a while: she hasn't tossed less than five strikeouts any time she's pitched this season. She was also big at the plate, going a perfect 2-for-2 with two doubles and two RBI.
In other pitching news, Kailyn Street looked comfortable as she pitched two innings while giving up no earned runs or hits. She has been nothing but reliable on the mound: she hasn't given up a single hit in three consecutive appearances.
Back at the plate, White Plains got a massive performance out of Ava Galligani, who went a perfect 3-for-3 with three RBI, two doubles, and one run. Another player making a difference was Neela Older, who went a perfect 3-for-3 with two stolen bases, three runs, and one RBI.
White Plains always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .852. The last time their OBP was this high was back in April of 2024.
Meanwhile, Greeley came up short against Mahopac last Thursday, falling 12-5. The defeat continues a trend for the Quakers in their meetings with the Wolf Pac: they've now lost six in a row.
Greeley now has a losing record of 1-2. As for White Plains, their win bumped their record up to 8-2.
