Kolbe-Cathedral has enjoyed a four-game homestand but will soon have to dust off their road jerseys. They will square off against the Immaculate Mustangs at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Kolbe-Cathedral has been dominant on offense recently, as they've racked up an incredible 611 points over their last eight games.
Kolbe-Cathedral stacked a fifth blowout win onto their ever-increasing hoard on Thursday. They breezed by Bethel at home to the tune of 61-28. Despite the win, that was the fewest points Kolbe-Cathedral has scored all year.
Meanwhile, Immaculate scored the most points they've had all season to find success on Saturday. They narrowly escaped with a victory as the squad sidled past Harding 66-64. Having run the score up that high, both teams might be doing some extra defensive drills very soon.
Kolbe-Cathedral pushed their record up to 8-0 with that victory, which was their fifth straight at home. As for Immaculate, their victory bumped their record up to 3-4.
Kolbe-Cathedral was able to grind out a solid win over Immaculate in their previous matchup back in January of 2023, winning 56-43. The rematch might be a little tougher for Kolbe-Cathedral since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
