The Hadley Luzerne Eagles can finally bid farewell to their four-game losing streak thanks to their game on Thursday. They claimed a resounding 57-20 win over Salem on the road. For those curious, yes, that was the biggest victory Hadley Luzerne has managed all season.
Kiernan Haskell and David Miller certainly did their best on Thursday to try and avoid the loss. Haskell scored four points, while Miller scored three points along with six rebounds. Those six rebounds set a new season-high mark for him.
Hadley Luzerne's victory bumped their record up to 2-9. As for Salem, their defeat was their 15th straight at home dating back to last season, which bumped their record down to 0-8.
Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Hadley Luzerne will be staying on the road on Tuesday to face off against North Warren Central at 7:00 p.m. on January 9th. As for Salem, they will face off against Hartford Central at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
